Water Softener System
Principle: Ion-exchange resin-based hardness removal.
Construction & Components:
• FRP / MSRL pressure vessel
• Ion-exchange resin (cationic, strong acid type)
• Brine tank with ejector assembly
• Multiport control valve (manual/auto)
Operating Cycle: Service → Backwash → Regeneration → Rinse
Design Considerations:
• Inlet hardness: up to 1000 ppm as CaCO₃
• Output hardness: <50 ppm
• Service flow rate: 10–50 m³/hr
Applications: Boiler feed, Cooling tower make-up, Process water.
